Honey Badger Backpack

Well, sadly you're sold out of Honey Badgers! As it stands I commute by bike and pack and love the versatility of switching from pannier to pack. I really hope you get the funding to continue producing this product...would love to try it!

Pros:
Honey Badger's sort of a modern take on a New England pack basket but I expect to wear out the harness before the durable main body ever has an issue.
It can light up when it's not full, which is both fun & useful- either for safety on the road or as a diffused-light 'lantern'.
I grabbed the pannier conversion & expect to get a lot of use out of it, though I've also found that the pack is more comfortable to cycle with than expected.
It's sized to (usually) qualify as an airline carry-on.
It's easily moddable - i may add a water bottle pocket & some LED lights.
The magnetic clasp is a lot of fun, it makes opening & closing the pack fast & easy.

Cons, though these are all pretty minor:
The Honey Badger can't compress for storage due to its hard shell.
It is a little resonant when lightly loaded, with some click-clacks & other noise that can be annoying. I often stow a few extra layerable garments in the pack to help keep things quiet.
The seam where the white and black plastics meet can be a little buckled. This is only an aesthetic issue, maybe one that can be resolved as the design gets more fine-tweaking.
Finally, my 'biggest' issue with the design- the rounded bottom requires one either lay the pack on its back or prop it against something before opening it, as it can't stand up on its own. I'm guessing the rounded bottom was chosen for a sleek and aerodynamic look & a flat bottom would probably look a bit unexciting. I'm kind of on the fence about this - I like the zoomy look but also want the pack to be a bit easier to work with. Maybe I'll get used to it.

And finally, speaking of the pack's looks, people really like to look at the Honey Badger, and sometimes stop to ask about it. This may be a pro or a con, depending on how you feel about the extra attention. This backpack is super unique. I guarantee you'll get multiple people asking you about it on the trail. Because of it's translucent plastic shell, it gives some advantages that normal backpacks don't:
* Turns into an amazing "camp fire" at night if you put a head lamp in it
* You can put stickers on it (that may seem like whatever, but it really is revolutionary)
* You can go through really nasty rocks and trees and not worry about it getting shredded

This is seriously a fun backpack. If you are looking for some extra spice on an day hike or an overnight backpacking trip, can't go wrong with the honey badger =)

This pack is lightweight(!) and fits well on the body. However, the best part is the translucent nature of the shell - I can playfully add a light inside for interest (and visibility!) at night. During the day, no one can see what I have inside (or how badly I have packed). I value this flexibility the material design offers.

The key is to poke/drill/punch a few holes for straps. (I used a Dremel tool.) I've got a Windrider and a few other packs but I keep returning to this for short trips.
