The OneUp is back in stock and shipping now!

The OneUp is SlingFin's all-around Alpine/Mountaineering tent featuring our patented, award-winning WebTruss™ Technology. It is eminently configurable for use as a double-wall basecamp tent, a single-wall mess tent or comm dome, or bomber high camp tent for 4+ people.

It includes our hexagonal inner tent body, which sleeps 4+ people and features 4 windows/vents.

Use it with just the fly as a shade structure, or add the footprint for a fully enclosed single-wall dome. Clip in the tent body to turn it into a 4-season expedition shelter. It's extremely strong, and lighter than other tents in its class for the space it provides. The flysheet is made of silicone-coated nylon, and 6 equal-length poles allow for a quick and easy setup.

Features

  • Available in orange/gray
  • Snow flaps on fly can either be extended out or folded under and attached under the WebTruss™ to seal out spindrift
  • Numerous guy points
  • Reflective tape located at each sleeve opening of the WebTruss™ for easy setup
  • Flysheet can be rolled back to create a shade structure
  • Includes removable floor - allows for "mess tent" configuration
  • Kick stand vents on doors don't flap in winds
  • Zippered windows in tent body
  • Fly-only pitch option (OneUp can be used with or without a tent body)
  • Internal guyline compatible
  • Lots of interior pocket space

Used outer for group tent

Group tent for 6 on Aconcagua this January. Absolutely indispensable. What are are you gonna do sitting and acclimatizing? Used just the skeleton and fly, at 14k, 18k and then at 19.6k we pretended to sleep in it before summit day. Setting up at cólera though, one of the elastics had to be retied. Too loose. Probably because we had it in the cold for over a week. Six people sitting on packs and small chairs. One issue I had is that at tension the zippers should not be fully unzipped or you will have a hard time closing them. The vents make an excellent place to use a solar charger. Easy to cook in. Easy to set up in winds. The rest of my group initially though this was an unnecessary luxury but every mind changed when we set it up at plaza de mulas and it started to snow.
